This one will be short.
I finally caught up to “13 going on 30” (I must have been really busy in 2004. And, well, every year since then).
There’s more I could say, but believe it or not, I’m still pressed for time. So let me just put this here for now.
I wanna be 30! Thirty and flirty and thriving!”
Let me tell you, that hits different at my age than it would have at 30. Don’t be surprised if I say it often now that it’s stuck in my head.
“I wanna be 30! Thirty and flirty and thriving!”
I do. Who do I see about that? Got any magic dust?
Oh, and thank goodness for movie soundtrack screenshots. My budget for new photos is all tapped out.
“Movie Quote Stuck in My Head” is self-explanatory, but it’s more than that. It’s a chance to dig inside an old quote for new meaning, or a new quote for an old truth, or to chew on a line for fun or sustenance. It’s also inspired by and a tribute to “Real Time Song Stuck in My Head,” a popular feature on the Twitter feed of the late Craig Stanke, a former editor for CBSSports.com and, for too short a time, a leader by example to me during my time working there. You can read about him here.

Ok, this is a quick little, partly relevant response: do u know the sound track for “The Royal Tennenbaums” ? The movie is not very good – the weakest Wes Anderson film, imo – but the tunes are haunting and lovely.
I’m not sure if the soundtrack to The French Connection is available, but this one tune is unforgettable:
