After cooler weather, tomorrow we are going to flirt with 90 degrees, probably for the last time this year. I’d promised myself that if I woke up before evening rush hour with any sort of energy, I’d run at least one errand today.
How many did I get done? A whole bunch’um. I’ll tell you all about them later.
There are days when, my health and ADHD and late-night work schedule being what they are, checking things off my to-do list can be challenging. It can feel like a mountain.
Adulting is hard.
I was thinking that on my drive into Portland. There was Mount Hood, “out,” but with blues and purples (to my eyes, anyway) around the snowpack, seemingly shaded somehow on a sunny afternoon. Beautiful. I’m always grateful when the mountain is out. Someday I’ll take a photo of my own to show you.
Anyway, so I went out, did the things, then headed back home, all done.
Climbed a mountain and I turned around.
